This was a performance by Lin Yilin in an alley in Vancouver's Chinatown. In unsafe area filled with criminals and drugs, participants in Vancouver's Chinatown were asked to walk through a process of reciting out loud and posting "wanted" posters on poles showing images of North American prisoners with height weight, hair, eye color and so on. Lin then climbed the ladder and inserted a small photo into the cracks of the poles. This ritualistic behavior attracted many onlookers and police, but also provoked threats and verbal abuse from drug addicts taking drugs on the streets. Lin wanted to make a dangerous alley which everyone avoids and is fearful of into a participatory and experiential site.
